This can work as a dessert and also as a breakfast if you like!

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30/35 minutes.
2 cups gluten free oats
1tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup of walnuts (into small pieces)
1/2 cup of chocolate chips (milk or dark)
2 cups cow milk or almond milk
3 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 banana (ripened) and sliced
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup of mixed berries and some Goji Berries.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (375 fahrenheit) and oil or butter the inside of a baking dish. I very often use baking paper instead (you can save some oil as well as a few calories....).
In a large bowl mix together the oats, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, half of walnut pieces, half of the berries and half of the chocolate (save the other half of walnut, berries and chocolate for the top).
In another large bowl whisk together the milk, egg, butter and vanilla extract.
Add the oat mixture to the baking dish arrange the remaining walnuts, berries and chocolate on top. Add the banana slices to the top then pour the milk mixture over everything.
Shake gently the baking dish so the milk can go throughout the oats.
Bake for 30/35 minutes until the top becomes golden brown and the milk mixture has set.
