Snack on Nuts!

We all know, nuts are back on the Menu!

Whether you put them in a cake or in any desserts, in a main dish or just crunch some when watching TV, they are always good. They are source of many nutrients:

Proteins - Monosaturated (healthy) fats - Vitamin E - Fiber - Potassium - Magnesium - Selenium not to mention they are loaded with antioxidants.

Downside... watch out for the calories!

Almonds, Walnuts, Brazil Nuts, Hazelnuts, Pine nuts, Pistachios, Cashew nuts, Peacan nuts, Macadamia nuts.

Try them roasted (lay some Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, whole almonds and cashew nuts for example on some baking paper on top of an oven tray and bake at 160 degrees for 20 minutes).

Store in an airtight container (I use a glass jar) and have your snack bites ready for the week.

  • Let them cool outside the oven and on a cool dish.
